Lizha James in the fight against poaching

Bang Entertainment hosts the debate on poaching in Africa on August 31 this month, and brings together international singers for the ambassadors of Woman to Africa in their countries. In addition to an exchange of experience among the panelists, the event aims to make official the singer Lizha James as ambassador of the organization.
Woman to Africa Ambassadors namely; dj cuppy, Zari Hassan, Victoria Kimani, Nhlanhla Nciza, Thembi Seete, Dj Zinhle and Lizha James meet in Maputo for a reflection on poaching in Africa. Lizha James is a singer chosen to represent Woman to Africa in Mozambique. As ambassador she becomes an advocate for animal rights like elephant and rhinoceros, which are on the verge of extinction in the country due to the indiscriminate killing of poachers.
Lizha James is a national reference in music and has a legion of followers, it is believed that associating her image in this movement of African women who struggle against the slaughter of the animals can constitute an asset for organization and the respective one that represents, in this case Mozambique. The official launch of Woman to Africa is scheduled for August 31 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, will be attended by the ambassadors of this non-profit organization for a discussion on poaching in Africa, where each artist will share experience from your country. After the debate, a musical show will take place on September 1st at Gil Vicente, with the participation of foreign and Mozambican guests for the musical concert.
The killing of animals as an elephant poses a serious threat to conservation and biodiversity, and the consequences of this evil are evident in wildlife. Poaching is endangering some subspecies, including the disappearance of rhinos in Mozambique. And if the country does not take drastic measures to stop this practice the damage will be greater and irreversible. The complicity of some local communities, both in terms of participation in poaching and the mere fact that they do not report illegal logging activities, has made it difficult to combat.
The initiative aims to encourage sustainable practices in the African continent, promote empowerment of women in communities through symposia, educational seminars and musical concerts. Woman to Africa aims to eradicate the global phenomena that affect the victims of poverty on the African continent, such as illiteracy, environmental degradation and other ills that constitute an obstacle for women in Africa.
Woman to Africa works to support African women and young people in promoting the continent's cultural diversity and heroic women who inspire millions of people with their work across borders.
The project brings together seven concepts namely; "No poverty" - ending extreme poverty in Africa by 2030, "zero hunger" - achieving food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture, "good health and well-being" - ensuring a healthy life and promoting well being for all citizens, "quality education" - ensuring inclusive, equitable quality education and promoting learning opportunities for all, "gender equality" - achieving gender equality and empowering all women, "decent work and economic growth "- promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.
For this year, Woman to Africa has chosen to pursue the theme that has to do with the practice of poaching in Africa that aims to raise awareness of the population to stop the slaughtering of animals such as elephants and rhinoceroses.
